Google's Link Marketing Hypocrisy

Usually, I am quite good at ignoring Google AdSense ads when browsing the Web without blocking them. Today I wasn't and noticed an ad for a German link broker. So I bothered to search for links to find the results shown on the following screenshot.

Google Search Result Links

The number one in the top ad block is text-link-ads.com a well-known link marketing platform for buying and selling links. Their website is banned from Google's organic search results, because the service they offer doesn't comply with Google's Webmaster Guidelines. It is obviously no problem for Google to list them in the top spot of the sponsored results.

Google's argument that the kind of link marketing offered by brokers such as Text Link Ads is a manipulation of search results is comprehensible. Site owners buy links for better rankings in search results and more traffic. But how is Google's link buying policy compatible with selling ad space to search engine manipulation services? Evil hypocritic Google.

Simple, that's one of the tactics of doing business and gaining a dollar: Opportunism.
Great find. Now i have started thinking that anything can happen when it comes to money [:D]
