Buy Me a Beer

Buy Me a Beer is a very simple module that is supposed to stay simple. Neither database tables nor 3rd party modules need to be installed to get Buy Me a Beer set up and running.
Since this module uses services provided by Paypal, you obviously need to have a Paypal account.
Buy Me a Beer Settings
After installing and enabling Buy Me a Beer in
yourdrupalsite.com/admin/build/modules
go to
yourdrupalsite.com/admin/settings/buymeabeer (Drupal 5)
yourdrupalsite.com/admin/content/buymeabeer (Drupal 6)
To make the module work:
- You must enter an e-mail address that can be used to receive Paypal payments. Otherwise mine is used ;-) Oh no, I am not that evil, the default value is the empty string, so you really need to set the e-mail.
- You can change the default anchor text which reads: If you liked this post, buy me a beer.
- You can change the default link title text which reads: Donate a beer or two via Paypal. This text is displayed when the cursor is moved over the link and also used as the Paypal donation identifier.
- You can enable the node types to display the link in, e.g. only display the link in blog posts or book pages.
- You can choose whether to display the link in full view (default), teaser view, or both.
- You can select a weight to position the link above or below the main content.

Disclaimer
The Buy Me a Beer module project is not meant to play down the severe impact too much beer can have for one's brain and body. It is very easy to replace the anchor and link title text and ask for tea, water, energy drinks, cigarettes, or vodka. Cheers!
Have you enabled one of your node types?
Actually I did not want to port it to Drupal 6, maybe I change my mind but I can't tell you when the Drupal 6 version will be available.
No, I haven't come across this message so far. It sounds like it is caused by a paypal account setting.
