As with any other contrib module. Deactivate in admin/build/modules and remove the files from the file system.
You can put other ads on the same page. The module only supports shoppingads ads.
Is the "Publisher ID" the same thing as the "shoppingads_ad_client" (the long alphanumeric that appears in the first line of the shoppingads code)? That is the only thing I can find that remotely seems to be a "Publisher ID".
Some docs on how to use this would be very helpful.
The
Publisher IDvalue on the settings page is the value used for the JavaScript variableshoppingads_ad_client. On the settings page for the module below each form field there is an explanatory text for the corresponding field.Unfortunately, the shoppingads servers seem to be down quite often, so if no ads appear though the module is configured correctly this is very likely the cause.
Well, that's no good; if we can't even count on their servers to be up, how in the world can we count on any income from them?
Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for ads.
Thanks for the reply though -- I really couldn't figure out *what* I was doing wrong!
You're right an ad server that is not reliable is not of much use.
