JAddresses is a Joomla component for managing a directory of addresses similar to yellow pages. It can be used to list addresses of companies, official organizations, and others.

Entries can be added and edited in the back end. It is also possible to add (not edit) entries via the front end, these are unpublished by default. Currently JAddresses supports one level of categories that are managed with the Joomla Category Manager. After at least one JAddresses category has been set up, entries can be added. Required fields are: name, address, city, postcode, country and description.

Optionally the following fields can be filled in: federal state, district, county, URL, contact person, telephone, mobile phone, fax, e-mail, and image url. You can configure the component after you have added a menu item for it in the parameter section of that menu item.
